I'm so grateful that it's spring! Usually at this time of year I'm in Asia, so it feels really special to be watching the changes here at home each day. The redbuds are now in full bloom. The beech leaves are unfurling, slowly. Last night there were frogs and toads fucking and frolicking in the vernal pools (the puddles in my driveway).
