Earth Day Devotional: Forest Fairy Play & Ritual

Earth Day Devotional: Forest Fairy Play & Ritual

Tuesday, April 21, 2026

Two hours before sunset (6 - 8 pm Eastern)

Step softly into a forest fairy playground, where the earth is waking in petals and perfume, and your own devotion can take root alongside it 🌸🧚‍♀️. In honor of Earth Day, we’ll gather in the blooming heart of spring to create nature-based altars and personal rituals that celebrate our love affair with the living world. Beneath the wide, waxy leaves of magnolias just coming into their full, luminous expression, and among the blush of redbud trees, drifting wild blue phlox, and the last whispers of early spring ephemerals, you’ll be invited to listen, gather, and respond with your hands and your heart. Late April in Kentucky is a threshold moment, when flowering trees and wildflowers overlap in a brief, enchanted chorus of color and life .

Together, we’ll weave simple, soulful rituals using found natural objects, petals, and presence 🍃💫. This is not about performance, but about relationship: with the land, with mystery, with the quiet knowing that something sacred is always unfolding beneath our feet. Whether you’re crafting a tiny altar at the base of a tree or whispering a vow to the wind, this experience is an invitation to remember yourself as part of the living earth. Come play, come pray, come fall a little more in love with the wild intelligence that blooms all around you 🌼💚.

We will gather at McConnell Springs Park or at Centered Healing House on S Mill Street downtown, depending on the weather.

This event will be guided by Sarah Belzile and Lauren Higdon, and will possibly be joined by Alice (in wonderland).

This event is free for folks who are attending Forest Fairy Festival, who are current coaching clients or premium content subscribers. For everyone else, we're requesting $45 for the experience - or contribute what you can.
